We were asked to provide a high quality architectural vision for the city centre in this, Macedonia’s second city.  We presented two alternative schemes to the City, one high rise with the expectation of private finance, and one low rise, to be financed publicly.  The aim is that these proposals will act as catalysts for future high quality development, to replace the existing poor quality, Soviet mid-rise concrete constructions.  Tetovo itself has a population of around ninety thousand, and boasts two universities.
