Saffron Walden County High School Hall . BB&C

The 20m x 20m multi-purpose hall was part of a larger development for Saffron Walden County High School completed in 2005 at the cost of £1.5m and also included five new classrooms, an extension to the library, staff rooms and a café.
The hall was designed with retractable seating for 200 and opens up into the adjacent courtyard.
It has been detailed to include natural ventilation and fitted out by Saffron Screen as the local cinema at weekends.
Technical facilities include a sophisticated sound system, projection room, automatic blinds and cinema screen and it is used for school assemblies, lectures and drama as well as community cinema.
