The Herchel Smith Building for Brain and Mind Sciences is a one and two-storey 1980's timber framed building on the Forvie Site adjacent to Addenbrooke's Hospital. We were appointed to convert this existing laboratory into research space for the University of Cambridge.

Open plan offices surround a central seminar room and courtyard and provide research spaces for staff and students involved in the research into the human brain. Custom designed furniture unifies the variety of spaces in the building while also encouraging staff and student interaction.

The Clinical research wing contains Cognitive and Consulting rooms as well as a specialist screened EEG Room for out patients.
