The Tower Theatre, Islington:

The Tower Theatre Company are unique in being the only full-time non-professional company in Central London that since its formation in 1953, has always played in public theatres. The Tower Theatre Company stages up to 18 productions a year and all their actors, directors and technical crew get involved for the love of it, working together to produce shows that compete with the best of the professional London fringe. In 2003, they lost their home in Islington and have been seeking a new base since then.

We have supported this search with feasibility studies and schemes for several sites and have now prepared a detailed Planning Application for the conversion of the Grade II Listed Old Hornsey Road Baths into a 150 seat auditorium with studio theatre, rehearsal spaces, club room and backstage facilities.

Drama Studio and Music Department, Long Road Sixth Form College:

The conversion and extension of existing facilities to provide studio theatre and musical practice and recording spaces with linked control room. The project was completed in 1995.

Dance Studio, Homerton College:

The conversion of an existing Victorian building into a Dance studio as part of a wider programme of refurbishment. The studio was completed in 1991 at a cost of £0.3m.

The Leys School, Cambridge:

Appointed December 2006 to design a new theatre and assembly hall. Approximate value £3 million.

Feasibility Studies for Performance Spaces:

Theatre, Palmer’s College, Grays, Essex:

A flexible school theatre. Cost: £1.3 million.

The Festival Theatre, Cambridge:

A large scale restoration of the original theatre. Cost: £2 million.

The Old Town Hall, Hemel Hempstead:

Proposals for the conversion of a listed building into a 140 seat theatre, exhibition gallery and restaurant. Cost: £1.5 million.
