The original development plan for this Cambridge Sixth Form College was produced by BB&C in August 1994 and used as the basis for the successful Planning Application for Phase One.
The first phase of work was constructed between January and October 1995 and provided a new 1120 square metre wing of teaching space, together with alterations and extensions to the existing Drama Block.
Revisions of the original plan were made in December 1995 which developed the detail of the Sports Complex and replaced the earlier Performing Arts Centre with a new library.

A further phase of work on a site earmarked for expansion in the revised Development Plan was constructed from November 1997 to May 1998. This provided new facilities for Photography and History.
The third phase of work, completed in 2001, was a new teaching wing which replaced temporary buildings and provided sixteen new classrooms.
